Dear Who~Knew....I HATE that you have removed all of the links and such and that you feel as you do but I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND~!!! I, too had become disgusted with this site and quit signing onto it for a little while. It seemed as tho all I EVER saw..outside of a limited few was GIMME GIMME GIMME and no one seems to want to try and help themselves~!!
I WOULD like to say Who~Knew....You have helped me IMMENSELY...if it wasn't for you I would never have discovered Prosper and a few other sites. Also...a few other things that you posted helped me keep my head up during the holidays...although I had no money to buy my children or anyone any gifts for Christmas,I received a Christmas tree from Free-Cycle and was blessed with a 50 dollar grocery store gift card and I know that buying buying buying is NOT what it is all about so instead, I found other, more heartfelt things to make and do for Christmas.....I also posted things I was no longer using up on my local Free-Cycle site in hopes of maybe helping someone that was in my situation have a little brighter Christmas. Why is it that so many feel the need to have the best, most expensive for their children and even themselves...seems to me if you have NOT, you'd be happy to get anything and consider yourself blessed~! Who~Knew...just know that I greatly appreciate all of your efforts and I just hope that you do come back to the site again...maybe we can do something to weed out the cons and spammers on here and the ones on here that won't do anything but moan and complain and not get up off their butts and do something to help themselves....there is an old saying..."You have to give UP to GET" and it is so true...help is not going to come knocking at your door people...you have to put in a little effort yourself~!

well just to let everyone that my child support has kick in and the lord does answer my prays and ithink everyone will be ok now and i don't need to go for other people for help thank to the person that email because it does that there are people who care. and i will make sure to give back to people who also need help now. so remember this leave in the lords hands and he will answer your pray and when you get back up remember to give back and thank for ever you have. thank you michelle saenz

(1)im a hard worker and single mother of 2 children. the harder i work the harder i fall, just when i get a head . something else goes wrong i just need a little help with some of my bills.i dont need alot just enough. i say that because alot of people are down and also need help. (a quarter) any thing ,will help. THANK YOU SINCERLY FROM MY HEART. AMY - no spamming please....christmas is here and my goal is to get a enough for a couch. just a couch.

im a single mom also w/3 kids since they were all under 5. now all teens...what you believe will be. there is never a no just a way you havent figured out. i have a small very modern couch (black) also a very nice wooden table & chairs (white legs and light wood top) very heavy and still looks brand new. let me know what else you need. lost my large home in a foreclosure and have downsized tremendously. but each bad thing has led me closer to something even better. somethimes we just cant see it at first. please let me know what you need. ive found in these 12 years of single parenting when we have been the poorest, the memories we made are the things my kids remember now not being poor. doing crafts together, candlelight story time, camping in the yard. if you have money ever left over, spend it on making a memory with your children. i have lots of excess furnishings. so please let me know what you need.

I would like to include this quote from ekikaseven . This is something that I have to tell myself and that I had to learn through many struggles . I have to say that I agree with the saying that "God helps those who help themselves"
Here is the quote :

Complaining about other people not doing stuff for us, or them charging a fee for doing stuff will not help our situation in the least!
And, another thing. On this site, all information offered here is done a voluntary basis. No one is REQUIRED to give anyone anything.
I am just so grateful to the people who are able to provide some insight and direction sometime.
